I love this message, and could not agree more.
It also drives me crazy when I see coaches say things like, "your "WHY" will keep you going on days you don't want to."
Knowing why you want to become active, lose weight, and get fit will not help you in the beginning, middle, or end. The most common 'whys' I hear from clients:
“Eat less to lose weight”.
It makes sense, doesn’t it? In fact, it’s probably the most widely prescribed weight-loss advice ever given. But what if it’s wrong? What if we’re only looking at half the picture?
Life, on a daily basis, can feel like a rollercoaster.
We are constantly bombarded with thoughts, feelings, everything else people want us to do. But can we learn how to deal with this better? Or are we doomed to the constant ups and downs we are left to experience.
This is controversial.
